This is a first for shootyouintheface.com; I have decided to post some graphic design projects I have worked on in the past.
In this project–an album cover for my client and friend Rel!g!on’s new compilation album “Revelations 1″–I incorporated my photography into the album design.
On the front cover is a photo I took while shooting stills on the set of Moka Only’s latest music video for the track “Lucid,” which makes an appearance on Rel!g!on’s new album.
On the back cover is a shot of Rel!g!on I took on a night photoshoot specifically for the album and promotion.

Awhile back I shot stills on the set of the music video “Lucid” by Rel!g!on and featuring Moka Only and E.D.G.E. I posted the photos HERE. Now that the video has been on rotation on Much Vibe for awhile, Rel!g!on has released the video on the internet. Also, since I have already uploaded some stills from that day I though I would include some behind the scenes shots with the video. Check em out.
It’s been over a month since my last post and a lot has changed since then: I bought a Canon 7D and have since all but retired my Canon Rebel XSi.
Pretty much everything I post from here on will be shot with my 7D. Also, a wicked feature of the 7D is remote flash trigger. So now I can fire my speedlight wirelessly off camera! This makes for the awesome freedom to light my subjects without being tethered to the flash. You will definitely see an improvement in the quality of shots in the future.
Im also changing my watermark on all new images from the shootyouintheface.com bloodstain to a simple design of my name that compliments the image both in position and color. While I still like the bloodstain watermark I think it’s a little too “edgy” for some people.
About the image: The shot was taken at my house with my friend Alex. It was another random creative photoshoot and we produced some amazing results. This pic is one of my favorites and kinda reminds me of a makeup ad in a magazine. Im going to post more photos from the same day over the next week–stay tuned.
