When I was at the Opening Gala for Vancouver Fashion Week I had a chance to talk to some of the designers of the show. One of them handed me a business card printed on sheet metal. The clothing label read “Ginger Martini.” I commented on her interesting card and asked what her name was. She replied, “Ginger Martini.” I smiled and asked what he real name was. Again she said, “Ginger Martini.”
I chose these photos to show some of the peices from her line because, like the “cape” or the golden fleece, the photos are unconventional-at least for runway photos.
Come back for more “conventional” runway photos of Ginger Martini’s line in the near future.

Saturday November 7th at Vancouver Fashion Week Porscia unveiled her new 2010 spring/summer collection. The show was a hit with attendees and Porscia’s line quickly grabbed the attention of upscale buyer Holt Renfrew. As a media attendee I photographed most of the shows throughout the week and I have to say Porscia’s show was among the most impressive.
Look for these photos and more at Porscia’s website (designed by me) PORSCIA.COM.

Last night’s Vancouver Fashion Week show, held at Colin Campbell, showed designs from local and international designers. Although Im not a fashionista myself I liked the designs by Broken Doll and Broken Ghost Couture. Here are some photos.

Yesterday evening I attended Vancouver Fashion Week’s opening Gala at the Terminal City Club. The event was packed with gorgeous models, designers, and media. I’ll be at most of the shows throughout the week so check back here regularly for more!
Pictured: 3 models from the “Hair and Makeup” contest. I think you can guess my pic for winner.
